Aleah Robbins
Class of 2011

Aleah is a freshman currently interested in pursuing a degree inCivil Engineering and Sociology. She was born and raised inPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania and loves to read, write poetry, watchmusicals, and cheer on the Stanford Cardinal. She has always beeninterested in personal style as a form of artistic expression and shehope you enjoy the show and her debut as a CFS Model!

 

 

Alina Syunkova
Class of 2008

Alina is a senior majoring in International Relations and aspiring to a career in international Marketing and Public Relations. An avid gymnast and synchronized swimmer since age five, she has continued to dance while at Stanford. She enjoys learning about the dynamic, global nature of the fashion industry, but admits to owing at least part of her obsession with designers and runways to her uber-stylish friends. She is excited to be part of Charity Fashion Show for the first time, extending her international relations background to philanthropy, while incorporating dance and fashion.

 

 

Ariana Afshar
Class of 2011

A freshman, thinking about majoing in human biology, Ariana plans to attend medical school in hopes of studying plastic and recunstructive surgery. She comes from a multi-cultural background and also hopes to one day join Médecins Sans Frontières as a doctor. Including the exciting fashion aspect , CFS became the perfect blend of diversity and humanitarianism.

 

 

Autumn Williams
Class of 2011

A freshman majoring in Aeronautics and Astronautics, Autumn Williams hopes to pursue her interests as an engineer and entrepreneur in addition to improving women’s rights in India. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Autumn is also interested fashion and dance. She is thrilled about her first year as a Charity Fashion Show model and even more excited for an amazing show!

 

 

Cheri Li
Class of 2008

Cheri is a senior in chemical engineering from chilly Minnesoh-ta, and plans to get a Ph.D. doing research on biomaterials. When she's not in the lab, she enjoys eating yummy cakes, making/cuddling wee ninjas (so stealthy!), frolicking in the sun, and secretly playing video games. Cheri's excited to finally be in CFS this year, and knows her children are going to kick some serious a**!

 

 

Christina Zhu
Class of 2011

A freshman, Christina is undecided about what she wants to major in, but excited about all the opportunities Stanford has to offer. Being on her high school's dance company gave her an invigorating love for dance and movement, as well as an appetite for trying new forms of movement. From taking kickboxing classes to performing silly interpretive dances with friends, Christina has been having a blast. Interested in international issues and learning, always learning, about other cultures, she is excited about being a CFS model!

 

 

Jillesa Gebhardt
Class of 2010

Jillesa is a sophomore probably majoring in CASA and minoring insomething that will hopefully provide her with marketable skills. Lastyear she realized that Charity Fashion Show was the perfect way toexpress her love of impromptu dance parties and playing dress-up in herown clothes. CFS fulfilled all of her wildest dreams last year, so she'sup for round two and hopes it will be even better than last year!

 

 

Jordi Handcox
Class of 2008

Jordi is a senior double majoring in Psychology and International Relations with goals of one day becoming the director of a major metropolitan hospital. Originally from Austin, Texas, her Stanford career is nearing a close, but it has been a crazy fun journey she'll never forget. Over the years she has been involved in Stanford Women's Club Volleyball and Sigma Theta Psi Sorority, Inc. , and she is stoked to work it out on the runway for CFS!

 

 

Kai Larson
Class of 2010

Kai is a sophomore (OH TEN!) from Charlottesville, Virginia, majoringin Psychology and minoring in Comparative Studies in Race andEthnicity. She is incredibly excited to return to CFS after gettinginvolved as a model and dancer last year. In fact, CFS more or lesstook over her life last year, and that was fine with her. She isamazed that there exists the opportunity for her to dance, playdress-up with pretty clothes, and spend time with amazing people whileraising money for such a good cause. She would like to thank BerhaneAzhage for getting her involved with CFS- without him she might neverhave found what has become her most rewarding experience at Stanfordthus far.

 

 

Kate Ludwig
Class of 2008

As a senior majoring in Anthropological Sciences, Kate has a strong interest in languages and cultures and plans to pursue a Ph.D in Anthropology next fall. She is originally from Days Creek, Oregon, and loves to travel, cook, journal, and hang out with her friends. During her time at Stanford, Kate has been a member of the club volleyball and basketball teams, and has also tutored for Barrio Assistance. This is her first time modeling, and she is very excited to have this incredible experience before she graduates in June.

 

 

Leslie Cachola
Class of 2011

A freshman from Chicago, Leslie is interested in pursuing a career ineither music or medicine. Still, she's not exactly sure what shewants to do with her life- her career aspirations have bounced fromfirefighter to C.S.I. to surgeon. In her spare time, she enjoysplaying basketball, dancing, singing, and watching the sunset. Hertwo favorite foods include gummy bears and ice cream. Leslie isexcited to work with everyone participating in this year's fashion show!

 

 

Megan Anctil
Class of 2010

A returning model, Megan Anctil is a sophomore currently double majoring in Japanese and Studio Art. When she isn't busy swapping second majors, she enjoys dancing, singing, drawing, and just hanging out with her friends. While she won't be strutting down the runway Victoria's Secret style as in the previous year, she is sure that this year's show will turn out even better than the last, and she looks forward to dancing on the stage and strutting to her heart's content once the music starts.

 

 

Punky Chun
Class of 2011

Punky is a freshman who is still exploring possible majors. She loves to travel and to try new foods. She is very excited to be a part CFS not only because she loves fashion, but also because she recognizes the importance of promoting cultural awareness. Enjoy the show!

 

 

Shantelle Williams
Class of 2010

A sophomore majoring in International Relations with minors inSociology and Modern Languages, Shantelle is interested in publicpolicy and social justice. Her true love is music and has been asinger and dancer for years. Coming from South Florida, Shantelleloves dancing to the Caribbean and Latin beats that make Miami sovibrant. This is her first year in CFS but she is very excited andhonored to help an organization with an impact as far-reaching asDoctors Without Borders.

 

 

Shirley Hu
Class of 2011

A Palo Alto native, Shirley is a freshman interested in biology and music. She loves to spend her free time playing piano, doing crosswords, dancing, reading, taking long walks on sunny days, and of course, shopping. She is excited to be a part of a fashion show that benefits Doctors Without Borders.

 

 

Suzan Ahmed
Class of 2009

Suzan is a junior majoring in Psychology, with the hope of somedayowning her own clinical psychology practice. Although this is herfirst-ever attempt at modeling, she has always been captivated by theworld of fashion and creative design. Her longtime fascination withthe psychological differences among people - and her discovery thatone item of clothing can do wonders for your confidence - allowed herto develop an appreciation for individuality in its many forms,including personal fashion; this, in turn, led her to develop anobsession for shoes, bags, and all things vintage (or vintage-LIKE).Suzan also loves dancing and is the current co-chair for the Stanfordhip-hop dance troupe Dv8. Her other hobbies include eating, napping,and being corny. And of course, she enjoys contributing to charity andbeing immersed in a diverse community of people who share her desireto help out the world...in style.

Alex Fialho
Class of 2011

Alex is an Undeclared Freshmen, leaning towards a major in AmericanStudies with a minor in Art History. Born in San Diego, his favoritefashion statement has to be the SoCal Bro-Ho style of jean mini-skirtswith Ugg Boots. Alex’s favorite TV shows are, of course, America?sNext Top Model and Project Runway. He’d like to thank his parents,teachers, and Miss Jay Alexander, Runway Diva Extraordinaire, forteaching him all that he knows.

Dan Ha
Class of 2010

Dan is an aspiring computer scientist, singer, gymnast, fire spinner, and sexy beast. He was born in Abbotsford, BC Canada (near Vancouver) but moved when he was 10 to Worcester, MA (near Boston). He enjoys learning languages in his spare time - so far he's worked on English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Mandarin, JAVA, and C++. Currently, his favorite song is "All you need is love," by the Beatles.

Erik Donhowe
Class of 2010

Erik Donhowe got his start in the modeling world when he used to strut his stuff around the house in his Huggie Ultra-Gentle diapers. Having made the move from New York to California with a whole new wardrobe and potty training under his belt, he's ready for the big leagues! A sophomore in Chemical Engineering, Erik first learned about the cutthroat world of fashion from Project Runway and it's been downhill ever since. In the little free time he has, Erik learns What Not to Wear if he were a woman, ruthlessly judges celebrities' fashion faux pas, and aspires to one day become a food scientist in order to engineer a milkshake that does, in fact, bring all the boys to the yard.

Jared Murphy
Class of 2008

A senior in the Mechanical Engineering department, Jared is pursing management consulting after graduation with future hopes of becoming an entrepreneur. Jared enjoys playing and watching basketball games, watching movies, and traveling, when he finds time. This is Jared's first time with CFS and he's extremely excited to be trying something new and getting to know a great group of people.

Marc Strauss
Graduate Student

A second cousin of Dustin Hoffman, Marc is no stranger to the performing arts. Marc's acting debut was in the Oscar-winning film "A Life Without Candy" at the age of four. His other accomplishments include playing golf with Nick Faldo in the 2005 PGA Pro-Am, baking the world's largest "magic" brownie, and completing the Iditarod dog-sled race with a team of French poodles. Marc aspires to become the first Canadian-born snake charmer, which may prove difficult considering he was not born in Canada.

Taylor Skaufel
Class of 2011

Taylor Skaufel is an Undeclared freshmen, leaning toward a major inManagement Science and Engineering (MS&E). He was born in Bakersfield,CA but has lived in Texas the for most of his life. Taylor is on theStanford football team and enjoys playing his guitar and hanging outwith friends in the little spare time he has. Taylor is pumped to bepart of Charity Fashion show this year and is excited to be supportingDoctors without Borders.

Thierry Uwilingiyimana
Class of 2009

A junior in electrical engineering, Thierry is currently dealing with the conundrum of Stanford engineers: whether to stay techie all the way or get that MBA after graduation and take the business route. His three years at Stanford thus far have revolved around the jealous and demanding major, a close and tight group of friends, and the ever present struggle to balance working hard and playing hard. He was born in Rwanda and raised in several different countries. The life experiences along the way have been priceless. After Viennese Ball came to a close midway through winter quarter, he was ready to put away the tux and bust into the hip-hop of the Charity Fashion. He is very excited to be working with such a great group of people for the best cause there is, supporting Doctors without Borders.

Tommy Mina
Class of 2011

A freshman with hopes to major in chemical engineering, Tommy plans to either enter the field of engineering or continue on in the field of medicine. He is a member of the men’s crew team and is pretty much busy all of the time, but he loves every minute of it. He is excited to be participating in CFS and supporting Doctors Without Borders!

Igor Popov
Class of 2009

Igor Popov is a Junior majoring in Economics who is extremely exciting to be emceeing Charity Fashion Show again. Igor was born in Moscow, Russia, and has a strong interest in cross country love and fashion. He can't wait to see you all at the event!

 

 

Jennifer Ojeh
Class of 2011

As a freshman from the lovely bay area, Jennifer Ojeh is interested inpursuing a major in Human Biology and a minor in Modern Languages. She iscurrently on a pre-med track, but is also contemplating the possibilitieswithin the business realm. Her desire to work with Charity Fashion Show thisyear stems from her love of interacting with and meeting new people. Shealso enjoys the excitement of fashion and is an avid fan of America's NextTop Model. But more than anything, Jennifer is glad to be apart of CFS'broader mission of enhancing cultural kinship in our immediate community andbeyond.
